Fans come in low, medium and high speed. We offer low speed fans with 4pin (Molex) connectors and medium speed fans with 3 pin (motherboard header) connectors. This is because 3 pin fans can be speed controlled and you can always slow down a fast fan, but you can't speed up a slow fan.
