Fan Adapter 60-80 mm

Permits the fitting of a slower speed 80 mm fan to replace a noisy, high speed 60 mm CPU processor cooling fan. Complete with fitted flexible fan mounts.

The ultimate Fan Adapter! The black plastic design has built in guide vanes to improve airflow. There are also four slits around the sides to relieve the air pressure. This results in reduced back pressure on the fan so extending its life - a major problem with the fully enclosed style. The pre fitted flexible fan mounts reduce noise further and isolate any potential fan vibrations from the motherboard.

Flexinut

Fan noise, such as rotor imbalance and bearings, can be transmitted to your case. To avoid this, fit the fan to the case with flexible mountings.

The flexinut fixes into an 8 mm diameter hole and is tightened with a single screw. No plain washers, lock washers or nuts. Cannot vibrate loose. An internal fan can actually be fitted from outside the case.

Unit comprises a rubber flexinut and screw. M4 x 20 mm

Note. Only suitable for 80, 92 and 120mm fans due to the requirement for drilling 8mm mounting holes.
